What is the cost of a
maid (not live-in)?
Male maid are not permitted
to live-in while female maid are permitted to live-in the maid's quarter
in the villa. Cost of the maid would depend on the families. As per our
knowledge, local hire not live-in would charge SR 20 per hour plus
transportation. For the live-in maids, they need to be sponsored by the
company in order for them to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Nationalities could be from Philippines, Indian, Sri Lanka, etc. Fees
include salary (SR 900 approximately), visa fees, medical, food, airline
ticket, etc.

Is there a
grocery store and a store for incidentals at Oasis?
We have a supermarket in the
main resorts that could supply all your grocery needs and for unavailable
items, they could bring this in 24 to 48 hours. They operate from Saturday
to Friday, 8:00am to 10:00pm.

Are women allowed
to take trips into town alone or with their children without husbands?
We have daily shopping trips
downtown and other large supermarkets such as Safeway. Women are allowed
to take trips on their own or with their children to supermarkets,
downtowns, malls and other areas on their own without any problem.

Do the villas
have satellite television?
Our villas are equipped with
satellite TV connections and currently we have a total of 85 channels to
include Orbit, Star TV, ESPN, Cartoon Network, CNN, Fox Channel, BBC, Sky
News in addition to a variety of movie channels such as Super Movies,
Cinema City, America Classic Movies, Showtime, Magic Movies, Star Movies,
etc.
